My Story

I always loved reading as a child. I'd sit curled up with a book, preferring exploration of the plot to nearly any activity. I read the back of shampoo bottles, dictionaries, billboards, everything. As I went to school, I found myself enjoying grammar and English classes. Parts of speech came easily to me, diagramming sentences was a favorite activity. I'd tried my hand at writing back then, but lack of motivation soon took over.

Years (and an education) later, I found myself an editor for nonprofits and organizations, reading over and rewriting their newsletters and website content.

A few years back, I tried my own hand at writing. With years of knowledge and experience behind me, I hope to soon succeed and inspire other young writers.
